ACT Goals

  • Introduce persons to and provide training in the use of case studies and other dialogical teaching methods.
  • Encourage the writing and publishing of new cases;
  • Disseminate information about and resources for case teaching;
  • Improve the overall quality of the teaching/learning process.

    In pursuit of these goals, ACT :

    • Publishes a Journal, a periodic Newsletter and maintains a case bibliography;
    • Sponsors one or more teaching institutes a year;
    • Reviews and selects new case studies for inclusion in the permanent case collection;
    • Offers members selected case books at reduced cost;
    • Provides assistance with case information and selection.
